The Mountain Dragons Bushwalking and Social Club (Campbelltown/Macarthur)
"Our goal is to develop friendships with like minded people through outdoor activities and travel, we aim to enjoy ourselves".
The Mountain Dragons Bushwalking and Social Club is an Australian Bushwalking Club and a member of the Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs NSW Inc. They are located in the Macarthur District of New South Wales (NSW) where most of the members live. The Macarthur District includes the following townships: Bargo, Thirlmere, Camden, Campbelltown, Glenfield, Ingleburn, Hill Top, Minto and Picton in the Wollondilly Shire, the population is approximately 225,000. The Macarthur District can be found on the South Western fringe of Greater Sydney approximately 50 kilometers from the city centre and north of the Southern Highlands.
We've developed a link (early days yet) with the Mountain Dragons to help out each other's members who are planning to visit either Australia or the UK. It is hoped that members will provide help, advice, information and even accommodation if members of either group want to visit and do some walking.
If anyone is thinking of planning a visit to the New South Wales area then it's worth giving it some consideration. If accommodation is sought with one of the "Dragons" members then a financial contribution must be made which would be agreed beforehand and you must remember that you would be stying with a family. Even if you're not going to that part of Australia it's worth making contact as they have links with other sites.

Hopefully we can develop some good relationships with the members. Ken who runs the website is originally from Yorkshire and some of the other members are Brits too.
