Vickers Heavy Machine Gun.
Holds 250 rounds of .303 on a fabric belt feed (pictured above). Weight of gun 40lb. Weight of tripod 48.5lbs. Muzzle velocity 2,440ft per second. Length 45.5 inches. This machine-gun, providing there was an adequate supply of water in the barrel, could fire continuosly non-stop. All that was required was the ammo to feed it. Apparently the water in the barrel would get that hot that you could have a brew up from it afterwards. I think the vickers required a crew of 5 to operate, how ever i could be wrong.
We no longer have a vickers unfortunatly, a new one would cost around £1000+.
