National Wildlife Federation, Regional Education Manager
This person will beresponsible for advancing the NWF’s education program work in the Gulf
States region through: Implementation of programs aimed at protecting and restoring wildlife
and habitat, confronting global warming and connecting people with nature; Developing a network of committed and connected individuals and organizations to support habitat conservation in their communities; Procure new funding resources and maintaining funding relationships for
education program’s regional and national efforts.
The manager will create awareness about NWF programs through all media
outlets. He or she will identify opportunities to collaborate with other
departments and program staff on program initiatives as well as to work
with NWF state affiliate organizations to implement programs on the
ground level. This position also must provide sound management at a
regional level of involvement through proactive evaluation.
Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. in, Education, Environmental Education, Science, Natural
Resources or other related field. Post-graduate degrees or work a plus.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in project coordination,
program planning and implementation, establishing and cultivating
partnerships, fundraising/grant writing.
One to two years of experience as a manager
Ability to thrive in a multiple task work environment.
Ability to identify, engage and cultivate key contacts that include,
but are not limited to, individuals within formal and non-formal
education arenas, community leaders, NWF's affiliate organizations,
etc., to develop strategic partnerships.
Ability to establish and cultivate relationships with potential
funders. Can relate easily and openly with people, work independently with
minimal supervision, excellent attention to detail, strong
organizational skills, strong communication skills, both oral and
written, able to set priorities and follow through.

seeking a Marketing/Production Coordinator who will:
? Coordinate marketing campaigns by consistently delivering
high-quality, timely and cost effective marketing efforts through email,
direct mail and telemarketing channels
? Manage marketing campaigns including influencing strategy and
concept development. Select audience, schedule and coordinate the
creative process, including management of the approval process,
controlling the production phase and results evaluation.
? Be responsible for bidding, procurement, scheduling and
management of all production activities related to the Membership
Renewal direct mail programs.
? Be accountable for meeting monthly mail dates, negotiating with
printers and letter shops, controlling costs and reconciling expenses
and inventory.
? Strong attention to details is essential to this position.
Qualifications:
? Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working with
fundraising/membership or direct mail marketing and/or production (as
well as experience working with a variety of out-sourced vendors and
exposure to multiple types of printing processes.)
? Education: Bachelor’s degree required; marketing,
communications or advertising concentration preferred.
? Skills:
? Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
? Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage workflow
effectively.
? Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with members, a
variety of NWF employees and outside vendors, as well as to run creative
meetings.
? Ability to interpret campaign results.
? Good correspondence, editing, and proofreading skills.
? Familiar with a variety of computer programs (particularly
word-processing and spreadsheet programs)

We are seeking two experienced Gift Planning Officers (GPOs) who will
identify, cultivate and solicit planned-giving donors and prospects for
the purposes of raising funds for deferred gifts (primarily bequests and
charitable gift annuities). The GPOs will identify and evaluate
prospective donors through visits, phone calls and correspondence in
order to develop a plan for stewardship according to giving potential.
They will also coordinate fundraising efforts with the regional
Directors of Development, as appropriate.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years experience
in direct planned giving, with the ability to cultivate and close
significant planned and outright gifts. Working knowledge of basic
financial and estate planning, especially as they relate to planned
giving, required. Familiarity with tax considerations necessary.
Ability to communicate complex income and tax information to donors,
advisors and staff a must. Experience with charitable trust vehicles a
plus. Travel required.
