Helpful Tips
1. MSN's Customer Service advise for signing in/password problems:
With regard to concern with not being able to "Sign In"/ "Sign Out" and user name and password not being accepted, I have determined that your issue can best be addressed by another Support Team within our organization. To do so, please follow the steps I have outlined below:
1. Go to http://support.msn.com/.BR2. Click on the "Microsoft Passport Network" link found on the "Standard Services" column.
Upon reaching the page, you may now choose the appropriate support to assist you.
2. Heres how one of our members solved their login problem:
After many failed and frustrating attempts to log back in,
I finally got through last night.
My experience may help others who had similar problems.
How did I do it?
First I ask Microsoft Customer Support how to reset my password
since my old password didn't work any more.
Within a minute they send me an e-mail with an internet address.
To reset my PASSWORD I had to choose a new one which I did and it seemed to work.
But then it asked me for a alternate or second e-mail address which I do not have nor does msn need this information. When I clicked “continue” it asked for it again and again. After the third time I noticed a “Skip” button on the bottom right where I then clicked on. Finally I was logged in !
Also, I clicked the option to save my name and password and hopefully I will stay signed in once signed in
2. With msn's customer service you often have to re-explain your problem to them because for whatever reason they may not respond directly to your questions or frequently and typically they give you trouble shooting advise like "empty your cache" and/or "adjust your cookie setting to medium", which seems to be their stock solutution for most problems. Granted this advise is indeed sometimes the solution but they seem to advise you to do that even when the problem is their fault.
Sometimes it may take a couple of emails to them to get the advise you are seeking.
If you continue to have problems and you are unable to get help from msn customer service please post any problems to the forum and one of the managers will try to help you.
Thank You!
