Clarence is said to be born in 1906. Ran away from home as young teen. Only have what has been pieced together by me. His father was said to have been a typesetter and died of ink poisoning. Family think fathers name was Mark. Mother remarried as soon as husband died. Clarence knew alot of information about farming, horses, and Dairy farms. Rode in rodeo's. Supposedly lived in Canada at one time. Know for fact that he had a sister Mary, step-brother Frank. Someone in family named Jessie but don't know if sibling or mother. He was French canadian and ? Does anyone have a missing Black sheep in the family? Maybe heard a story from a grandparent about a missing relative!!! Clarence married years later and had 7 sons. I also know they were still in Guilford Co NC in 1850 where the ceneses tell me that they by that time had 5 children there names were John age 10, Laura and 8, Lewis age 6, Madison age 4, and Martha age 1.
