Hello, members and friends! This is Captain k'alaa (aka Lelia Sinclair). We would like to extend our appreciation to all our members and supporters, and to make several announcements. This information is also available at the AMAFSR Homepage, at: http://groups.msn.com/AMAFSR.

Firstly, we have a new announcements board, at: http://admiralmuddandfriendssitering.s5.com/corkboard/index.html . There, all members and supporters are invited to announce new developments for their sites, or for any kind of announcement you may wish to make. Also, if we announce a vote for policies or events, we will most likely post it there (as well as on the Homepage). Feel free to check it out!

Second, we would like to set up an ongoing dialog with our members. Anyone wishing to contribute an article, poetry, game, links or review may contact me at bluesandsoul@hotmail.com, or leave a message on the Homepage. (The only type of annoucements we do not accept are those of a commercial nature, or anything rated NC-17). If you wish us to look at the message before posting or submitting it officially, please put in your Subject line: "Take a look?"

Thirdly, if you have other websites associated with your own, or websites you have created and would like to mention in the Newsletter, please drop us an email and let us know. If they are science fiction related, the site can become a full member of the AMAFSR. If not, it can receive a special mention in the Newsletter, on all the messageboards and associated AMAFSR-owned websites. Most people who create websites usually have two or three up their sleeves. Send us the link, we'd love to see it!

Fourth, and lastly: to view the complete Admiral Mudd and Friends Site Ring Newsletter, you can go to: http://groups.msn.com/AMAFSR, then click on the Newsletters link and the appropriate date-- or you can go to http://pub101.ezboard.com/fklingonculturalinstitutemessageboard
(the Klingon Cultural Institute Message Board) where Admiral Mudd and I create the newsletter. You will find it in a topic under "General Information".

(Most announcements and new events will be included in the Newsletter. Special annoucements will come by email infrequently. We try to keep our emails to members at a minimum, because of the ongoing problems most people have now with too much unwanted spam. To take a look at the AMAFSR's Anti-Spam Policy, please go to: http://groups.msn.com/AMAFSR/amafsrsantispampolicy.msnw )
