CI54 SIR ALEXANDER MURRAY 4TH. BT. OF BLACKBARONY: Sheriff deputy Co. Peebles, 4 April 1732. Married Margaret, daughter of William Wallace of Hamilton, but having no issue he executed his estates in1741 in favor of his neice daughter of his brother Archibald. Sir Alexander was succeeded in his title by his cousin Sir William ( C152-2-A ).
