                                     The Collecting of Antique & Deactivated Guns is a fascinating hobby but the squeamish my shy away from the fact that such items are, first and last, instruments of death, but partly because of that fact, they are also the subject of superb , precise and meticulous craftsmanship, and it is easy to see how these qualities, plus the fact that when handling them one knows one is handling a  vivid piece of history, make them so irresistible to so many.
