The ANZ Military Brats of Singapore
a Group formed from ex Armed Forces dependants of Australia and New Zealand who lived and attended school in Singapore. Mission Statement Our Objective:
To nurture a community where brats may gather to keep alive the memories and love of a time and place of our youth. To provide the opportunity for all ex brats to find and contact old friends, classmates, aquaintances and Teachers of Singapore through means of the MSN Internet Group.
Our Goals:
To find and re-unite every brat who attended the Australian and New Zealand Schools of Singapore. This will include the schools of Changi, Selarang, Seletar, Sembawang, Tengah and Woodlands, respectfully ANZ Schools and NZ Schools from 1971 to 1989.
To organise and hold a series of school re-unions in Australia and New Zealand and ultimately leading to a reunion tour of Singapore. How We Accomplish what we do:
Using the internet service of MSN groups.
Placing Links on connected/associated sites (with permission, of course)
Assisting and encouraging and liasing with other similar reunion groups (eg:brit brats, RAAF School Penang)
Welcoming 'Special Guests' such as those whose Fathers did not serve with Australian or New Zealand Defence Forces.(no brat will be turned away)
Corresponding with RSL and RSA Clubs, leaving articles for magazines and Armed Forces
Newsletters/Newspapers, local and capital city newspapers to promote the group.
Encouraging exsisting members to promote the site, help and Welcome new members.
