Adaptive Technology for Learning & Work Environments
By
Joseph J. Lazzaro.
Great resource on Assistive Technology!
We read Joe Lazzaro's updated edition of "Adaptive Technologies for Learning and Work Environments" with great interest and found it very informative and resourceful. It offers a comprehensive presentation of the various technology options available for persons with visual, hearing, motor, speech, and learning disabilities, and includes an evaluation of more than 200 products. This practical reference guide can undoubtedly help you find assistive solutions for your needs and identify product vendors. It also discusses strategies for funding adaptive technology and proposes useful cost-saving tips and ideas. In conclusion, we highly recommend this book to anyone seeking information and expert advice on the latest assistive technology available for people with disabilities.

Joseph J. Lazzaro is director of the Adaptive Technology Program at the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind in Boston, and is also an online instructor with Equal Access to Software and Information (EASI).
