God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few, To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye." "Afghans for Angels" is a non-profit ministry of volunteers who make and deliver baby blankets and Angel gown outfits to local hospitals to give to bereaved parents who have suffered the loss of their infant through miscarriage, stillbirth or other form of infant death. This Chapter of Afghans for Angels has been founded on the same principles upon which our founding Father's formed our Nation, "IN GOD WE TRUST." We are founded on Biblical values and make every decision within this group as such.and after seeking God in prayer first. Anyone who wishes to be a part is welcomed. This group is a group of non-denominational volunteers and seeks to minister to the healing of all parents who have lost an infant regardless of race, creed, or religion as well as to its members. Our non-profit staus is provided to us through an umbrella created by DePaul Health Foundation and the SHARE: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Program operating through DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. DePaul Health Foundation is a 501c3 tax exempt fouandaiton. All contributions and donations are tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
