MISSION:  To promote aerospace power and a strong national defense.  To support the needs of the Air Force and the AirForce family.  To explain these needs to the American people.                                                         

    

   Founded in 1946:  AFA is an independent, nonprofit organization with over 142,000 members and more than 200 chapters.  We invite you to join us if you are not already a member.  Members receive the Air Force Magazine, a must-read leading aerospace defense publication, and many more benefits
