Shoshone Venture With Akna entered into Best Movement at Winkleigh Country Fair & came 1st place, beating over 20 dogs in the group

Dogs Trust Show, Kenilworth. Jerry-Lee & Brandon 6th place for Junior Handler & Akna Nirvana took her first steps in the show ring taking 6th place for Av Puppy under 6mths. Kate & Sky took 1st in Best Condition

Akna K9 Academy attended 2 events today @ Keyworth Fun Day & Dog Show The Akna Inuits 5th Av Working (Jerry-Lee), 4th Av Brace (Jerry-Lee & Azra), 1st Handsome Dog (Jerry-Lee), 2nd Kc Companion Dog Club (Jerry-Lee), Kate & Sky 2nd Av Hound, 1st Av Open & Reserve Best In Show, Ali & Storm 1st Av Working & Reserve Best Puppy in Show.
Denise & Toby were at an Agility Competition today & took 2nd in Veteran agility & 1st in Veteran Helter Skelter with a fab 17secs!!!

Akna K9 raised £26 for the Pets At Home Charitable trust by donating money from every pet microchipped on that day. More microchipping dates are available through July scroll down through the News Section for details...

Akna were out today doing their bit for charity. Jerry-Lee participated in a 15 mile walk for Rainbows Children Charity along with Claire, owner of Jerry's niece Kaia (who was too little to take part this year so Uncle Jerry stepped in) They raised over £120, well done

Akna King of the Mountain 2nd Av working, Shoshone Venture with Akna 4th in Handsome Dog & Mahlek Cheyenne @ Akna 4th Prettiest Bitch, also dogs trained by, cared for & that attend Akna K9 placed well with A Whitehouse & 2 Inuit Dogs placing 2nd in Handsome Dog (Shoshone Onyx) & 2nd in Prettiest Bitch (Alaskan Sophie). K Dayman with Isle of Sky greyhound placing 3rd in Handsome Dog & 3rd Av Hound. A Lapidge took Best In Show after coming 1st in Dog Judge would like to take home & 2nd Av Puppy with Storm their stunning Husky.

Akna K9 Academy attended & had another great result.....Akna took a 5th with Best Family with 3 generations Akna Nirvana (10 wks), Akna King of the Mountain, Shoshone Venture with Akna & Mahlek Cheyenne @ Akna & Akna King of the Mounatin 5th Av Non Sporting. K Dayman & Isle of Sky took 5th Best Six Legs, 1st Best Condition, 2nd Novice Av Sporting & 1st Av Sporting Dog. A Lapidge & Storm took 1st Prettiest Bitch & 2nd Av Puppy.

Sunday 18th May @ Cheltenham Racecourse, the last Cani-X event of the season. Racheal ran with Jerry-Lee & came 11th, Tommie ran with Sabre & came 7th & Kim & Sally (Trained by Akna K9 Academy) came 2nd in their 2nd ever event!!! Well done

Akna K9 ran at Cannock Chase Cani-X event today & although the weather & the going was hard we did really well. Racheal Bailey (owner & breeder of Akna) ran 2 x Inuits, Cheyenne (7yrs) & Kira (2yrs also part owned by Shoshone Kennels) & came 1st in the 2.5km, Nina Pulford who came 1st @ Crufts with her Inuit Deefer (Bred by Shoshone & trained by Nina & Akna) came 3rd in the womens 5km. Kate & Skye placed 9th, Kim & Sally placed 7th & Tom & Sabre placed 12th, (obviously slower than Kate & his mum!!!!) Well Done to the runners & to all who have been training hard. Nobody could of prepared us for the hard slog today!!!!!!

Crufts.....Wow what an amazing day, not only was the Cani-Cross being held for the first time at Crufts but Akna K9 took the first ever Inuit Dogs to Crufts & then if it didnt get any better Nina & Deefer came 1st & Racheal & Jerry-Lee came 6th!!!!
