Dear Members,

There are going to be posts that each and every one of us will make a decision to pass over or respond to. There is no need for anyone to read posts they don't like, or posts from people whose writings they don't like. Let's move on and please don't judge those posts we find not to our liking. Humour is also welcome, and it is assumed that most will know when to put the humor aside and get down to business.

This community is based on diversity - Two of each animal in the ark should provide something for everyone..... communities within community. Our forum can be imagined as a boarding-house with all kinds of colourful residents -moralistic captains, spontaneous fun-lovers, bawdy bohemians, ordered intellectuals, damaged souls, caring souls, empathetic angels- all united in the aim of dealing with the vicissitudes of Alexithymia. We are here to heal and grow, offering inner strength when it is needed by a member of this community without loosing any of the rich diversity of personalities and styles.....

Alexithymia chatsite also allows people to go 'off topic' within reason as general sharing is a wonderful curative, though it is recommended that the chat room be used for 'very-extended' divergent-chat. The only rule at Alexithymia chatsite is: excessive attacks on other members are completely unacceptable, and anyone behaving in this manner will have their membership discontinued.
