My mentor is my mother. My mother is a wonderful genuine person. My mother makes me want to be the best that I can be. I only hope one day that I come close to filling her shoes, as it is a hard role to fill. I have learnt immeasurable lessons from her and received countless support and guidance. My mother has taught me how to be strong, kind, giving, generous, loving, helpful and best of all happy. I have learnt from her how to work hard, have faith in everything I do and most important never give up. My mother always seems to have the right answers and of course the best advice. She listens to me even when I am not making sense. She loves me unconditionally and stands by my side in any decision I make. I have watched my mother do more than the world has ever asked of her. I have watched her struggle to go to school and raise five children. She has taught me the meaning of courage and strength. She always gives more than she has, and then gives some more. I dedicate my life to my mother as I would not be here without her. I only hope I can make a difference in other's lives the way she has in mine.
