Indian Peacock Design.  Oct. 2003

Chasity's hand stain on June 2003. Color was a

blackberry color, but flash made pic weird!

Thanks to Jannan for allowing me to photograph her design!  You can see where the paste is still wet on the finger tips and where it has dried and is starting to flake towards her wrist.  Normally this does not happen, but we were having so much fun with our "Girls Night" and talking, it took me longer to do her design!

Floral Design Sept 2003

Thanks to Yasmine for this photograph of the henna I applied for Eid Al Fitr 2002.  The paste is still intact in this photograph, and she had a remarkably dark stain when it was removed.

Suzie, my frequent henna patron had this hand design applied for Eid Al Adha.  This particular design was just a compilation of several of my designs, plus she had me add the trim around the fingers to her specification.  The crust is falling off at this point as you can see (this photograph was taken 4 hours after application.)  You can see the stain underneath.

I did this design on my cousin, Jessica (my 10 year old guinea pig) for Eid this year.  Her stain lasted well over a week and a half.
