The Beginning of Time;
Introduction:
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
When God created the heaven and the earth did he know it would be plagued with evil as well as good?
Genesis 1:3 And God said let there be light and there was light.
When God saw the light he said it was good.
Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the lightness from the darkness.
Was it always destined for the goodness on earth to live in the light and evil live in the darkness?
Genesis 1:20 On the 4th day God created fowl and living sea creatures.
Genesis 1:24 On the 5th day God created cattle, creeping things and the beast of the earth.
Is the beast of the earth considered to be the evil plaguing mankind?
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:22 And God put Adam to sleep, taking one of his ribs he made woman.
Genesis 3:6 Eve listened to the serpent and ate from the forbidden tree in the midst of the Garden of Eden and gave some to Adam.
When God found out he cast them from the garden and told them to work the earth for the rest of their days and bare children so they could work the earth as well. They had a son Caine and another Abel. Caine was jealous of Abel and slew him. God cast Caine out to go on his own.
Did this start the outbreak of evil into the world or did Eve cause it by listening to the serpent and eating of the forbidden fruit?
Through out time evil grew on the earth in may forms. One of the oldest is said to be vampires, because folk tales and legends seem to have stories dating back may centuries. Many wonder where they came from, asking themselves the question; "How did the first vampire come about?"
Modern Times; Present Day:
San Francisco, California; Angel Island home of Dr. Derek Rayne and the Luna Foundation (A cover for the secret organization known as the Legacy; which few are familiar with).
Our story begins with the investigation into a plague of cattle deaths. Their blood had been mysteriously drained without a trace of even a small drop. This puzzled law enforcement officials in every area these deaths occured. This was a job for the Legacy and it's fearless crusaders; The leader of the San Francisco chapter, the handsome Dr. Derek Rayne and his loyal workers were among those few. They knew all too well what caused these mysterious deaths and were determined to hunt down the cause; "VAMPIRES".
