There are a couple of idea's for the bedroom.
Here are a few.
Doors: you can either put a full door up or what people call a dutch door with the lock turned around on the door so it is on the ouside of the room. I have also heard of the light switch being on the outside of the room so the Angel can't turn the light on and off constantly.
Furniture: some people opt to nail the bed and furniture to the wall or floor, or if your like me you put a bed in the room,, although Mandy just sleeps on the floor anyway with a blanket over her head., and put a lock on the closet and the dresser in the closet.
Lights: For Angels that can throw things in the air and if your worried about the light bulb, instead of taking it out and leaving them with no light, we chose to put a recessed light in her room. It goes up in the ceiling, light bulb and all, so Mandy has no access to it.
Windows: Some people chose to put plexiglass over the window so kids don't kick the window and break it. We haven't had to do this yet. What we did have to do was put a screw on the outside of Mandy's screen in the summertime because she opened the screen and was throwing her toys out of it. One night my neighbor was tossing them back in for her,, she was laughing like crazy. We were also concerned at that point about her jumping out the window. Now the problem is resolved since she can't open the screen.
