1) Personal Profile       IF you are older than 16 and you dont mind posting your personal information we cant stop you, but if you do post this information you must post your real age.       IF you are 16 or under we require that you do not post any personal information.       IF you have personal information posted (real or false) your membership will be revoked.  with a few minor exceptions which are listed below. The following 5 areas should look like this: Name: Undisclosed or (First Name ONLY) Age: Undisclosed  Gender: Undisclosed or Male/Female (yes you may tell us your gender) Marital Status: Undisclosed Location: Undisclosed (or State and/or Country) Also in any other part of your profile if personalized info is displayed your membership will be revoked (this includes your profile pic). NEVER give out personal information. This includes your Real Name, your Real Address, or even your School name.  And this includes anywhere on the group, and in your AC:WW game.  Anyone discovered asking for or giving out personal information while playing AC:WW will be removed from the group. If you are unsure what is on your profile or if you wish to change it, follow these steps. 1. Click on "Member Tools" at the bottom of the list to your left. 2. next Click on "View your member profile" 3. Now to change any info, CLICK on your nickname. this opens the edit screen (the Edit Profile button doesnt work anymore) or you can just click on your nick at the top of any screen. This takes you straight to your info page the follow step 3 above. For more help Click Here. 2) Email Addresses       A) We Require that everyone hide their email address unless they have their age showing that they are 17 or over.  Notice this is NOT a request, any member who has their email showing and not their age will be asked to hide it, if they do not abide by this rule, I will remove them from the group.  This rule is not up for debate, and no exceptions can be allowed anymore.      B) Never post your email address on the message boards, Never ask anyone for their email address on the message boards, Never ask anyone for their IM information, Never post your own IM information, and especially Never Email anyone from this group if your email is not visible.  Any violation of this rule will result in a warning, and continued abuse will end with a Ban. We receive several posts a week. that means you will receive several emails from this group a week. Note: we have been known to go well over 100 messages in a week causing some members email accounts to fill up and close. BE WARNED that ALL messages received in your email are UNMODERATED. I can only edit the messages after they have been posted, and on rare occasions things do get posted and have to be deleted, however if you receive posts in your email, you will receive these messages as well. Cheating in Animal Crossing       First of all our philosophy is if your having fun, and nobody is getting hurt and its not at another persons expense, then dont worry if others consider it cheating. The goal of ALL games is to have fun. Now as a group we do have a guide as to what we consider allowable discussions in regards to cheating. 1) Topics Allowed: Anything that the game itself  has built into it. for example Time Travel (TT). this is built into the game as a way for those who cant play the game 24/7 to be able to enjoy all aspects of the game. also getting items from other players. (yes I have heard this considered cheating) the game has this option, thus its not cheating. Duplicate Items. This is actually a gray area as its a glitch in the game that allows this, but it is a safe topic for the group. Reusing codes over and selling the items. The game has its own built in device to curb this, by only allowing you to give 3 codes at a time to Tom Nook.  This still makes it alot of work if your goal is to try and get rich this way. Trading Hacked items. We have no problem with members trading items that may have been acquired through hacking, but if we find out any member tries to 'Seed' anothers town when visiting, that member will be banned from the group and the rest of the group will be warned to remove your info from their games for their protection. 2) Topics Not Allowed: NON-Nintendo Unversal Codes. mainly because these can and have on occasion corrupted memory cards. also Game Enhancers. (Gameshark, Action Replay) as these also have been known to corrupt Memory cards. Hacks and Seeds in AC:WW. Due to the fact that amature hackers can easily screw up their gamecards, this group does not support discussions of this nature. Selling of AC or AC:WW items for Real Money. This pretty much explains itself.  Roms and Emulators. we do not support any discussions in regards to this ilegal activity. Any questions you may have in regards to ROMS and Emulators, Please read Nintendos stand on this issue.
