Common Problems for Beginners
(in no particular order)

1. How to crop those BIG backgrounds whether it be a Picture or Text

With text it is even simpler....

One way to avoid a large background is to open your graphic in its folder by a right click on it and choose 'Open with... ' Ulead Gif Animator and it will open to the exact size

2. Changing a Coloured Background to a Transparent one
If you make your background transparent then you can use your graphic on any coloured background. Handy for that '1st message of a thread' which has the yellow background.

a.

Go to 'Edit' (top toolbar) and down to 'Make Selection Area Transparent'

b.

c.

If you have a coloured background you can also use 'Tables' to frame your graphic as I have above (#1) and on the 'under construction' pic below. There is a mini tut under the 'Quickies' thread here for this

3. How to rotate Text or a Picture

Highlight your second box under 'Method' and use your mouse on the black squares to move in whichever direction you choose. You can also use the rotate arrows and rotate by degrees. This works exactly the same for a picture!

4. How to resize Text or a Picture within a frame

Highlight your first box under 'Method' and use your mouse on
the black squares to move your picture in and out in all directions. This works exactly the same on Text!
