Copy and Paste

 

  1. Left click the mouse and scroll across the items or words you want to copy so they are highlighted in blue.
  2. Right click the mouse and hit the word copy which appears on your screen.
  3. Insert the curser into your text box.
  4. In your toolbar click onto the clipboard, third icon in from the top left. What you have copied should appear in your message.

 

Saving Your Messages From Going Into Cyberspace

  1. Open or start a new thead and type in your MSN message body/insert photos.
  2. Left click onto the mouse, drag and highlight entire message including photos.
  3. Click onto the toolbar Copy Icon, top left just after the Sissor icon (the two sheets of dog earred papers).
  4. Click Send Message.
  5. If the message dissapears into cyberspace open an new MSN message box
  6. Insert the curser into your text box.
  7. Click on the Clipboard in your new message box, the Paste icon to the right of the Copy icon.
  8. Your saved information from the previous lost message should appear in the text box. Click on Send Message again and pray.

 

Inserting A Link In A Message

  1.  Click on the insert/edit a link icon in the message toolbar on top...the blue globe with the chain link in front of it
  2. Copy the url address of the page you want to link up into your message
  3. Put the curser in the http:// box and hit  Ctrl - V  to paste the address of your link  

 

Embedding a link in a word(s) 

  1. Copy the url address of the page you want to link up with the mouse/right click
  2. In your MSN message type the word(s) you want to embed your page link into
  3. Drag your curser over your typed word(s) and highlight with mouse/left click
  4. Open the insert/edit a link icon - blue globe with chain link
  5. Put the curser in the http:// box and hit  Ctrl - V to paste in the address for your link     
  6. Hit Insert in the Insert/Edit a link box
