David Kuzara
Astronomy Forum Manager

I started my first forum, Space Quest, on August 27, 2000.  I had only been on the internet for about 6 months at the time.  I had my own company in California for 13 years, designing  and fabricating computer boards and performing computer installation and repair.  Interestingly enough, although I routinely connected customer computers to the internet, I was not on the internet myself.  So I was not only learning to be a site manager, but learning to use the internet as well.  In November I started my second forum, Adapting To Space, in response to a need to have a forum that focused on the problems of moving off the Earth and into space.  At times, Adapting To Space is the most active Space related forum on MSN.
Since then I have participated in many different Space forums, and have been asked to become Assistant Manager of 3 of those.  On July 29, 2001, I received my biggest honor.  Lenny Abby asked me if I would like to own Astronomy Forum, a forum he started in September of 1999, when MSN first began this service.  I accepted, and here I am.  I will do my best to uphold the tradition that Lenny started, and help this community to grow and keep up-to-date.

I am based in Wyoming where the air is clear and the nighttime sky is magnificent.  I sold my Celestron C-8 in preparation for getting a C-11.  Meanwhile I use my little Meade 1000mm to good advantage.  I also purchased a Nikon 990 to take high resolution digital photos.  My main astro camera is an Olympus OM-4 which adapts nicely to the Meade or the Celestron.
