I have been somewhat occupied lately.  Heather and I are very close now.  We have had a lot of great times together already.  Last night we went for Indian food then we played Joust, Frogger, Galaga, Centipede, etc on my Atari 7800 game system, fun times!  This weekend I fired some pottery and I had a teapot blow up.  Sad, but at least nothing else was ruined.  I am preparing to glaze everything by this weekend for a final firing.  Rob and I have a great start on a new band, its electronic music with bass grooves.  For now our band name is Ataritron, but that may change.  My movie, the Soul of Salt Lake City, is finally finished, I am planning to submit it to a few film festivals for next year.  I am considering producing a video with all my films and Matts film for distibribution.  I will let everyone know when it will be available.  Also I am producing a second round of some past music projects: Superforce 5 and The Skinless Chaps.  If you would like a copy of either of these albums free of charge, let me know.  Hope things are well with everyone,  my classroom is getting out of control so tootles for now.

 

 

Last night Rob & I worked out a 10 minute long song.  Our first song with the new band, its a lot of fun,  I will take some pictures at our next practice and post them.  I am planning on a Web site for our new project as well.  I got thinking about the weekend today.  Friday night Heather & I went to see U2 at the Delta Center.  What a great show!  It was such an emotionally moving show, especially during the song "One" when they projected the names of the people killed in the Sept 11 tragedy on screen.  Such a fitting song.  Its all about coming together in peace and love.  Its true this was a tragedy, but is has brought many of us together in spirit and many countries have pulled together as one.  Hope your day is great!  Love to all!

 

 

This weekend I took a trip with Heather up to a Catholic Monastery near Huntsville, UT.  We went to the little store they have there and bought a few things.  Heather bought lots of honey.  The monks make the honey there and it is delicious.  We went inside the chapel and saw a beautiful stain glass window and then sat on a stone bench under a tree outside.  The weather was very nice for November.  Also on Sunday we all got together for a poetry writing session.  I will be posting all the poems next week when I get back from Thanksgiving.  I am going down to Phoenix AZ to see my brother Rod.  I will miss Heather, I love her so much, she is going to Texas to visit her grandma.

This thanksgiving I spent at my brother Rods house in Mesa, AZ.  The weather was very warm and we spent a lot of time outdoors, going on bike rides and playing with the kids.  We went on a hike to Superstition Mountain.  Check out the late November photos!  On the way home we when through Flagstaff and listened to Depeche Mode "Route 66"  while driving on Route 66.  I missed Heather a lot, but she had a great time with her family in Texas.  Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!
