I have been really busy lately spending time with my lovely Heather, so I haven't posted in a while. All is very well and I am so happy with my life at this time! I have been finishing up some new pottery for christmas gifts in my studio. Stay tuned for pictures! Today was my work Christmas party. I got a candle in a jar as a gift, it smells of black cherry. I am excited for the weekend. Hope all is well with everyone!

So its the new year. For those who don't know, Heather and I are engaged to be married!! We have set the date to February 27th. We are having the ceremony at a Thai Buddhist temple in Layton, UT. The reception party will be at the Elk's Lodge in Murray. Heather and I are very exciting and are busy with wedding plans. Heather has picked out a dress and I am looking at patterns. I am going to have my clothes custom tailored for the occasion. I am busy designing the invitation, I will post it online when it is done. On another note, I am sad to announce that both our mice have died. We are planning on getting something else in the future, maybe a snake or a frog. Heather wants to get a beta fish. I am getting ready to post pictures of my latest pottery work, so stay tuned. Work is going well, but they just increased my in class hours to 29. I have to teach 3 early mornings and 3 late nights a week, its going to be busy and draining, but at least it is only for a quarter. I gave so many lectures last week, I was exhausted by the end.
Here is the results of a cool test I took:
| I am Pacman.
I am an aggressive sort of personality, out to get what I can, when I can. I prefer to avoid confrontation, but sometimes when it's called for, I can be a powerful character. I tend to be afflicted with munchies constantly. What Video Game Character Are You? 1/23/02 Hello everyone! Plans for our wedding are coming along just great. We have an irish band booked for our reception. I ordered a kilt for the wedding because it is what I really wanted and a lot less fuss than getting clothes made. Work has been a real bother lately. I am thinking about going back to just being a teacher, instead of a program director. Mainly because we have a new director of the school who is very unreasonable and expects program directors to work 30 hours teaching class a week and find time for administrative duties. It ends up being 50 hours or more I spend at the school a week and get paid for 40. I just need to decide whether it is worth it or not. Heather and I are very excited about our wedding. We should be mailing out invitations in the next week or so. We took pictures for it at memory grove over the weekend. This morning I listened to some Stevie Wonder. There's a song he sings that goes "Love's in need of love today. Don't delay, send yours in right away." With all thats been happening in the world and dealing with my own struggles this song really hit home. It is always a positive happy experience to spread love and understanding to those around you, inspite of your persecution and trials. Sometimes it seems there is just not enough love to go around. It is so easy to get caught up in fear, hate and the bustle of the world , but don't forget that love is what brings true happiness. Love to all! |
