Australian Alps National Parks

This is a Federal Governmnet site that gives information on parks from Canberra through Brindabella Range, and the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, and along the Great Dividing Range through Victoria. These Alps form a 1.6 million hectare chain of protected areas crossing State and Territory borders on the roof of southern Australia.

Tallaganda Shire - Braidwood District

This site is full of good information on the outdoors. It has drives, bushwalking in the National Parks and State Forests, cycling the country roads, rock-climbing, abseiling, caving and canoeing in the remoter and wilder areas of the district.
It also has the opportunity to fish for Trout and fresh water fishing on the Shoalhaven and Mongarlowe Rivers and various streams.

Landsat 7 Picture Mosaic of Australia

The Landsat 7 Picture Mosaic of Australia was produced by the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) as part of their National Carbon Accounting System. The mosaic is comprised of 369 individual Landsat satellite scenes acquired between July 1999 and September 2000. Will need to down load the view they supply as a plug in for your Internet Browser.
