A new Museum & Gift shop with full facilities has been built and will soon be open. The Museum area will be much larger allowing more artifacts to be displayed.

The park is avilable for group picnics and has nature trails for hiking. Trees & other foilage are identified throughout the park. Many Confederate events and memorial celebrations are held at the park each year.

Gates open at 6 am and close at dusk. Museum Hours are from 9 am - 5 pm. From I-65 North, take exit at 186 to AL Hwy 31. From I-65 South, take exit 205 to Al Hwy 31. Follow the Confederate Memorial Park signs.
