As a member of the Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities, I have the responsibility to advocate for people with developmental disabilities and to bring feedback to the council and to the Staley Implementation Group on how support services are benefiting folks. Being retired gives me the time to work for people with developmental disabilities and help families, caregivers, professionals and self advocates. I understand the system as I've been involved with my son who is diagnosed with developmental disabilities and is 20 years old.
