MISSION STATEMENT--Our main goal is to provide the highest quality of library service for the residents of the community. The Avella Area Public Library provides materials and services to help its patrons obtain information to meet their recreational, educational, and professional needs. Special emphasis is placed on supporting students of all ages and stimulating young people's interest in and appreciation for reading and learning. Community service is another goal of our library and is fulfilled by providing programs and activities for all ages and interests.

We accept the following items: Good used dry books, videos, audio books, All children's books and any donation of money. Donations to the Library are normally tax deductable.

The books on our shelves are provided by patrons who donate to the library in memory of or in honor of a loved one. If you are interested in remembering a loved one or honoring someone with a book donated to the library in their name, please call the library or stop in. You, too, will take pride in this community asset...our library...your library.
(You will feel good about yourself, and your loved one will be remembered both in the memorial book, and in our Register of memorial books, by name of the honoree.)
