Getting the run around

served in the navy, was with the
1st marine air wing in Danang, was tad from a squadron in okinawa,
served last 2 years on constellation cva-64. I filled a claim for ptsd
about 3 years ago, was sent to a mental health facility, for about 1
year, we met twice a month, was doing pretty good, then the va quit
paying for it and i cant afford to pay myself, couldnt get back in
group at vet center was full up, they were supposed to call back i
havent received a call yet, received 20% type 2 diabetis, about 1 year
ago. Had not received any thing from va, so I went back to the va rep
who was helping me, was told i had signed a paper with drawing my claim
for ptsd, which i cant remember signing, so i was just about to give
up, when another paper comes, saying we cannot withdraw your claim for
ptsd because it is not currently on appeal, they are keeping it active.
Now they are saying i signed a paper to withdraw my claim for diabetis
mellitus type 2. Why would i sign a paper like that, after waiting 2
years to get 20%, and just filed a claim on perh. Neou. on my feet.
What are they trying to do, this makes you feel real good, just before
the holidays Sorry i took so much of your time. Will keep you all in my

It is for Korean Vets,

and it seems only those who can show exposures related to Agent Orange get approved (?)

So, why not for Vietnam vets ...

They cut off the list way too soon (Diabetes falls in the metabolic autoimmune list)

I suspect that the Vietnam Vets have the best documented list of ailments ... only some of which were approved for presumptive disability approval. Removing the 'dioxin-only' items (about 2) this could be the list for harm of the WWII vets, the Korean Vets, the 'gulf war syndrome' vets AND today's soldier ... and all those in between whether during war era or not:
