REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Go to http://groups.msn.com/BDotNETStudent

2. Click "Join Now" (displayed on the left panel)

Hotmail Users:
3. Choose the first option which says "sign in using existing hotmail account"

Non-Hotmail Users:
3. a) Choose the second option which says "Register for a Passport"
b) Register for the passport using your non-hotmail ID.
c) Fill in the other details. Now, you have a .Net Passport.
d) After signing-up with passport, go back to http://groups.msn.com/BDotNETStudent
e) Click "Join Now" (displayed on the left panel)
f) Choose the first option which says "sign in using existing hotmail or passport account"

4. Choose a nickname

5. Type your e-mail ID to be used and uncheck the "Allow other group members to see my e-mail address" option if you dont want others to see your e-mail ID.

6. Next in "Select how you want to read group messages" choose a desired option. We recommend "Inbox" Fill up the registration details and Submit.

7. Once you have registered, your registration will be approved by the Group Managers in about 5-6 hrs.

8. Once you receive a registration confirmation mail, you can start participating.

9. Go to http://groups.msn.com/BDotNETStudent and click on the "Sign-in" button on the top of the page.

10. Enter your passport id (or Hotmail ID) and sign-in.

11. Click on "Messages" on the left panel to view the messages posted.

12 . Click on "New Discussion" to post a new message.

It is important to read About Us before you attempt to participate in the discussions.

[NOTE: Registering for .NET Passport does not imply that you have registered on the group. You have to join the group by clicking on "Join Now", displayed in the left pannel]
