No wonder you will encounter some mosquitos in the Tropics. No panic. There are effective ways to fight them!

Careful! Lots of repellents have almost no effect at all, they protect for a short time only, sometimes but for a few minutes! DEET products are considered to be the best repellents that exist. Citronella and other such products have no real efficacy but please read first the DEET Fact Sheet first.
