JUDY & AUDREY LANDERS

BIOS:

Judy Landers was born in Philadelphia and raised in New York. While her sister was working in soap operas, Judy was a successful gymnast. She won the New York Championship at 13.

After seeing Audrey working, Judy decided she wanted to be an actress as well. She did a few commercials and her first TV show appearance was in "Whatever happened to the Class of ‘65?" as Wanda the Bod.

In 1978, Judy auditioned for a role in the TV pilot "Vega$," and even though she did not get the part, she impressed the producers so much that they created the role of Angie for her.

In 1981, Judy joined the cast of "BJ and the Bear" as Stacks, one of the seven lady truckers who worked for BJ. During her short time on the show, Judy learned to drive a truck.

After several TV guest appearances and a few movies, and a children’s show she did with Audrey, Judy now lives in Florida with her husband, baseball pitcher Tom Niedenfeuer, and their two daughters.

Audrey Landers was born in Philadelphia and raised in New York She made her first television appearance at age 12 when she sang on the Merv Griffin show. While working on soap operas as a teenager, she graduated high school at 16, and attended Barnard College, majoring in pre-med. Audrey finished her undergraduate work with a 3.9 GPA while still appearing on "Somerset" almost every day.

While Audrey was playing the role of Afton Cooper on "Dallas" she was making and selling records in Europe. She released several albums and many of them went gold.

Audrey left "Dallas" to work on the movie version of "A Chorus Line." Even though most critics panned the movie, many said that Audrey as Val was the highlight of the picture.

After a brief return to "Dallas," many TV guest appearances, Audrey began work on "The Huggabug Club," a PBS children’s show she created with Judy. They filmed about 40 shows and did live tours along the east coast during the ‘90s.
