Update 8/24/02  This was sent in from one of our members, it is truly a remarkable find!!  The ad is for an auction of BJ's third season truck..in addition it gives all the specs of the truck, very detailed description and what a clear pic!  We're already trying to track down the owner then, to see where it went.. Check back for more info hopefully. AND THANKS!

Update 9/19/02  Approx. Feb. 1998 I saw what I believed to be an authentic BJ truck hauling containers in Los Angeles.  It had the correct paint job, and under a duct taped cardboard name plate I could see some badly aged pinstriping identical to the striping around BJ's name.  I saw this truck in passing as I was in my truck.  We were both proceeding thru a recently changed green light in opposite directions.  I continually look for the truck every time I get to Calif. since but have never seen it again.   I will continue to watch for it but if there is a member who lives in L.A. it might be worth watching the rail heads and docks.  I am sure it is still running out there.  Thanks "kwloverhoss".

Update 10/29/02  There is word now that certain members of this club have tracked down one of the actual BJ trucks (Aerodyne).  Although I know this has not been verified, but coming soon will be pictures and a possible life's history of this truck.  I will say this much.. it is one of the first to be located that is still being used to this day.  This info will be posted here as soon as permission is given..just letting you all know..WE HAVEN'T GIVEN UP!

Update 11/27/02  I've just recently joined your fan club. I've noticed that some of you are trying to track down some of the aerodyne cabover kw's that were used in the shooting.  When the company I use to drive for in 1985 was purchasing a few new kw's at Truck Enterprises in Harrisonburg Virginia , one of the original Kw's from BJ and the Bear was on their truck sales lot.  I even looked at the truck inside and out and it sure looked authentic. The sales manager said that it was for sure one of the trucks used in the series . Truck Enterprises is a Kenworth dealer that sells trucks in multiple locations throughout Virginia and  Maryland if that is any help.  Thanks "Thunderduck"

Update 12/29/02  kwloverhoss told us he's seen a BJ truck back in 1998, Today club member "Kenworth" has confirmed that this truck still exists, he learned from a friend (also a member here) that the truck is still out in Los Angeles,  Hopefully someday  someone can point him here to the club.  Thanks "Kenworth"

Update 12/31/02  It looks like the original BJ Kenworth Aerodyne is in Arkansas!!  The owner has plans to restore it if possible, he's also sending in pictures and I Plan to have a NEW PAGE just about his real BJ truck!!!  THIS IS IT!!!!

Update 5/6/05  This truck was owned by Lee Dixon (old chap), but has since sold it to Kraig (aerodyne1)  To see pics of Kraig's Original BJ and the Bear Aerodyne CLICK HERE

Update 5/6/05  Here is Kraig's (aerodyne1) original K100 Aerodyne used in the first and part of second season of the series.  Congrats Kraig!

I'll be damned, we did find one!   The others are still a mystery...
