Interested in purchasing a knitting frame? Check out these sites: -

http://www.knittingtoday.com - this is the place I order from. It's a great place for links and info.

http://www.bond-america.com/ - the is the official Bond site. All the gadgets and accessories are here, as well as FREE patterns and FAQ's about the Bond. But don't order from them if you're in a hurry. Check out the Ultimate Bond Club for info on Bond Clubs in your area.

http://www.herrschners.com - They also sell the Bond USM, and some accessories. They have great, quick service, and are a pleasure to deal with.

http://www.topica.com/lists/bondswap/ - if you're on a budget and can't afford a new knitting frame, join this VERY HELPFUL list of folks who sell their machines, yarns and patterns for a song. I buy TONS of stuff here and I've never been disappointed. Sometimes other, more high end machines are for sale as well.

For Barbie & Mattel Knitters -
mattel_knitter@onelist.com - this is a great place to try and find a Barbie or Mattel Knitter. Send them a BLANK message with 'subscribe' in the subject line. They will send instructions for joining the list. Also the place to discuss ideas and questions about this great little gadget. You may also be able to find one on eBay, but be prepared for a bidding war. They go quick. BTW, I wouldn't pay more than $10.00 for a used Barbie Knitter, as they were only about $20.00 new. Mattel Knitters may be more because they're ANTIQUES (gosh, what does that make me? I still remember seeing them on TV as a kid!) You may also find a lone one at Walmart or Kmart (where I found my first one). Check the toy web sites as well.

Sweater 101 E-book -
When I first bought my Bond and watched the instructional video, I was amazed by how easily it was explained by Cheryl Brunette. I later bought all her sweater and knitting method videos, many of which are now out of print.

I took these videos with me on BOTH of my Africa trips because of Cheryl's easy, non-threatening approach to teaching machine knitting. So even though we have never met, I feel like she's an old friend.

When I received an actual email from her announcing that she is planning a reissue of her Swaeter 101 ebook , I jumped at the chance to share it with all of you.
This book will give you easy step-by-step instructions on how to start, and actually FINISH your first sweater on the Bond or comparable knitting machine.
