Bandit Mods.... Renthal bars, changed gearing for a bit more grunt and a little bit less speed, over sized tyres front & rear (old shape Bandit!!) Polished bits and bobs (need polishing again!!) and just a general large paperweight in my warehouse!!! As for the Aprilia, why would you want to here about the mods I've done on my RS when this is the Bandit & SV Owners group... Still not many mods just an incorrectly fitted rear tyre and some braided hoses  |
One day, all bikes will be as slow as mine!!

Not had it long,been off the the road a year after some git knocked me off my last bandit.Mods upto now..hugger,gold bars and levers,engine bars,chopped rear fender,front fender extender,scorpian can,gold oil cooler cover,flyscreen,jack up kit,14 tooth sprocket,mini indictators..coming soon..goodridge hoses,maybe a paint job if funds allow.

Got used to riding my B6 now, and its great having you guys to bounce ideas off. Still havn't got my screen yet but the carban fibre hugger and much smaller end bars have made it better. im looking forward to the summer and some good biking weather and I have started to go to Box Hill some Sundays, all in all its good to be back on two wheels

Used to have a '97 600 Bandit, but sold it for something more sporty and grunty, a black and silver zx6r. Got fed up with that coz it was toorevvy, and did a straight swap with a red full power TL1000S. Only mods are Micron race cans which are bloody loud and suzuki lower fairing. It goes like stink and sounds top but the handlings crap. So will soon be replacing the "revolutionary" rear damper with a proper Ohlins setup, then get the ECU remapped for more power. Apparantly original pre-release TLs were making 135bhp at the rear wheel. Only thing stopping them from making that now is a load of restrictions in the exhaust and air box. Bit of surgery needed i think

bog standard vfr will have to do some mods, up until recently had a sv650s which was a lovely bike had loads of fun with it. if the vfr matches it i'll be well happy mainly had suzkui's over the years and still rate my suzuki x7 as the best one iv'e ever had ...but that was years ago!!
