TITHE COMMUTATION.
YANWATH AND EAMONT BRIDGE, in the Parish of Barton, in the County of Westmorland.
THE TITHE COMMISSIONERS for England and Wales, hereby give Notice, that in pursuance of an application made to them to that effect, and in consideration of sufficient security having been given to them for the due payment of the Rent-charges, in lieu of Tithes of the Township of YANWATH and EAMONT BRIDGE, in the Parish of Barton, in the County of Westmorland.
They, the said Tithe Commisssioners, by virtue of the powers to that effect, given to them by an Act passed in the third year of the reign of he present Majesty, intituled " an Act to explain and amend the Acts for the Commutation of tithes in England and Wales, " have declared by an Instrument under their hands, and official seal, bearing the date, the Twelfth day of August, 1844; that the Lands of the said Township, shall be discharged from the liability to payment, or render of Tithes or Compositions, or Rent, in the nature thereof, instead of to say, such of the Lands in the said Township as are now liable to the render of Tithes in kind, from the 1st day of January, 1844, and such of the Lands as are now liable to the payment of Compositions, or Rent in the nature thereof, instead of the Tithes arising therefrom, from the day on which such Compositions or Rent shall respectively determine, and that the Rent-charges in lieu of the said Tithes, shall be paid by half-yearly payments on the First day of July, and on the First day of January; and that the first half-yearly payment of said Rent-charges shall become due and be payable forthwith.
