THE BASEMENT MUSICIANS are a group of highly talented musicians who play the music they love. Old favorites & some originals. They play lots of country, folk & some classic rock. They've been playing great music since the late 1990's! They have performed in such high-profile venues in NJ as Albert Music Hall in Waretown, Whitesbog Blueberry Festival in Browns Mills, Historic Allaire Village in Allaire State Park, Berkley Carteret Hotel, Stone Pony, The Wonderbar & The Saint in Asbury Park, Centro Night Club in South Amboy, Barnegat Lighthouse Campfire Program The Claddagh in The Highlands, The Ark in Point Pleasant & the Cambridge Inn in Spotswood & many more. We've had the great pleasure of playing with Mark Allen Cash (Johnny Cash's nephew) a couple of times last year! We've shared the stage with Jeffrey Gaines in Centro's Night Club.

The Band's members are: Tony Pileggi - lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Joe Stamboni - vocals & lead guitar, Rick Hohowski - vocals, lead guitar, dobro, lab steel & mandolin, Mike Rosenow - vocals & bass guitar.

There are a great number of unbelievably talented musicians who are always willing to fill in as necessary, giving the guys the greatest number of opportunities. They all have their own bands or are solo artists with specialities that bring an exciting mix of talent where ever they go. Bob Speidell - vocals & lead guitar, Cliff Bloodgood - vocals & lead guitar & mandolin, Rich Gaffney - vocals & bass guitar, Alan Chambers - bass guitar, Gene Rosenow - Upright bass, Dave Sorbor - vocals, lead guitar & bass guitar, Tom Rutt - bass guitar, Kevin McGowan - bass guitar, Brenda Wirth - vocals,Gerry MacAvoy - Harmonica have all filled in at one time or another & bring such a variety of talents & music that it just doesn't end. We can't THANK these guys enough. It allows us to be able to do, so very much musically.
