Please note these rates are subject to city and state taxes, which currently total 12.5%.
These rates are non-commissionable, and not subject to further discounts through other special promotions that may be offered on a limited basis for transient reservations. It is only through group block that hotel availability can be guaranteed to your guests.
AMENITIES
The Mulberry Inn features in-room coffee makers, full size ironing boards with irons and free wireless high speed internet. We offer health facilities on property to include treadmill, bicycle, universal workout station and an outdoor pool. We also serve breakfast complimentary with all our guest rooms. In addition, we offer voice mail, free local calls and Direct TV with HBO 1, 2, & 3, FOX NEWS and ESPN 1 & 2. We also provide free shuttle service to and from the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport. The Mulberry Inn is located directly off the interstate between Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.
RESERVATION PROCEDURE
Attendees may make their own reservations by individual call-in to (800) 223-0404 prior to 12pm, September 4, 2007. Reservation requests received after this date will be accepted on a space-available and a rate available basis. In order to receive the special group rate, guests need to identify themselves as a member of the 1st Transportation Company/1st Truck Reunion. Reservations will require a valid credit card or a deposit of the first nights room and tax to guarantee the room.
Any request for reservations after 12pm, September 4, 2007 will be accepted on an availability basis only, and are not guaranteed the group rate.
FUNCTION SPACE ARRANGEMENTS
A meeting room will be provided at no charge as a meet and greet room on the evening of October 5, 2007. Should you require additional food and beverage our catering service, will gladly assist.
HOSPITALITY ARRANGEMENTS
The Mulberry Inn is NOT a licensed authority to sell wines, liquors and other beverages for consumption on our premises.
CREDIT AND BILLING
It is our understanding that each person in your group will be responsible for payment of their personal accounts at the time of departure, or at check-in if they are a cash paying guest. Please advise in advance if you wish to be responsible for payment of specific guests.
AUTOMOBILE PARKING
Convenient and secured self-parking is available for all our guests at no charge. Several parking areas are available around the hotel for easy access to all our guest rooms.
Bus parking is available on hotel property at no charge. Please advise your Sales Manager of the anticipated arrival and departure time so that we may be prepared for your easy arrival and group checkout.
CANCELLATION
This agreement, once signed will bind 1st Transportation Company and Mulberry Inn to the preceding terms. Cancellation of the agreement due to reasonable cause by either party may be granted upon written notice no later than September 4, 2007. It is provided that there shall be no right of termination for the sole purpose of holding same or reasonably similar function in another hotel or in another city. Reasonable causes for termination include: acts of God, war, government regulation, disaster, strikes, civil disorder or curtailment of transportation facilities or other emergencies.
Any controversy or claim pertaining to the cancellation of this contract, which cannot be acceptably negotiated by both parties, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered by the Arbitration(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
CONCLUSION
This revised agreement supersedes all previous agreements between 1st Transportation Company and The Mulberry Inn.
