When I was young, I kept a diary, a journal, whatever you want to call it. I started this practice January 1, 1973, when I was 10 years old. I had one of those five year diaries, with all five years on each page. So, I actually recorded many of my Roller moments in my diaries over the years. I will quote passages I deem relevant to MY LIFE AS A ROLLER FAN.
Now I know I fell in love with the Rollers in early October, 1975 or so. But the first mention of them in my diary was on December 29, 1975. It says, and I quote, "I just love the Bay City Rollers." No exclamation point. Hmmmm.
The next reference is on December 31, 1975, New Years Eve. "Spent the night with Sandy. Saw the Bay City Roller Show. It was really good! HAPPY NEW YEAR"
