1. Jewellery Creation of the Month: "Shades of Blue"

I created the above jewelry set for my sister as a 1st Wedding Anniversary gift... I chose various glass beads and crystals in shades of blue to compliment a deep periwinkle blue silver pendant.  I strung the necklace using Softflex beading wire, and finished it off with long sterling silver cones and a heart clasp. Then, I made the lampwork beads and created the earrings to match the necklace :-)

2. Lampwork Creation of the Month: "Surface Florals"

       

A friend of mine loaned me a book on the floral beads of Leah Fairbanks... Just for fun, I attempted to make a few beads using a similar style, and I had a wonderful time trying out the various techniques :-)
