Elegant beadwork designed & created just for you...

Gallery #3: ~ Custom Order Archives ~

  • The following photos display a history of beadwork jewellery designed for specific customers.
  • All of the items below have been SOLD, but if you would like to order anything based on what displayed in this gallery, please feel free to contact me to discuss design details.

Some of the following pages are graphically intense and may take a little extra time to appear on your screen.

Thank you for your patience :)

 "Evening Shade"

  • As custom creation in November 2001 to client Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

This necklace is an elegant evening-wear bib-style necklace. I created it using glass bugle and seed beads, woven using ladder and picot stitches, and completed it with graduated fringe at the front for an absolutely gorgeous, silky effect :)

A very special gift for a great friend!

  "Violet Shimmer"

  • By custom order in January 2002 to client in Illinois, U.S.A.

A new client requested a number of jewellery sets.

This stunning lariat and bracelet set in violet frosted glass Japanese Matsuno beads is the first in the series.

The lariat was hand-crocheted to a final length of 4 feet, and is finished off hand-wired, long tassels, composed of different glass beads and crystals.

The bracelet was created using the spiral rope stitch, and finished off with a 10K gold hand-crafted hook clasp.

  "Classic Black"

  • By custom order in February 2002 to client in Illinois, U.S.A.

This set, for the same client as the "Violet Shimmer" and "Autumn Melange" sets, consists of a lariat and bracelet.

The pieces were hand-crocheted using tiny, shiny black cut-glass beads, resulting in a subdued sparkling effect.

The lariat is just under 4 feet long, and the bracelet is 7.5" with a chain clasp extender for adjustability.

  • By custom order in March 2002 to client in Illinois, U.S.A.

This last set of the series consists of another lariat and bracelet, hand-crocheted using a gold, brown, bronze, and frosted brown glass beads, all mixed together for a very unique effect.

The lariat is 4 feet long with hand-wired tassles consisting of various glass and crystal beads.

The bracelet is 7.5" with a chain clasp extender for adjustability.

 "Beaded-Bead Beauty"

  • By custom order in May 2002 to client in Spokane, Washington, U.S.A.

This challenging custom order came as a request from a new client in Washington.

The task required me to create 28 individual beaded-beads, each created using the peyote stitch and various patterns of blue and black Japanese laser-cut Delica beads.

The beaded-beads are strung on softflex wire, intersperced with blue and black Swarovski crystals and silver spacers.

The necklace is versatile: it can be worn with the toggle clasp and dangle in the front, as shown, or with the dangle removed and the clasp at the back. The necklace comes with a pair of beaded-bead earrings on sterling silver earwires.
