It's a ROTTnPITy -

We are located in Philadelphia, PA, and are just in the process of getting started. Our goals are to greatly improve thebreed's public image (we work with Rottweilers and all Pit Bull types, since those are the ones most often facing BSL, not to mention horrible abuse). We hope to do this by training some dogs to become therapy dogs, and by educating school children and children in particularly high risk dog fighting neighborhoods about the breeds, and also educating them as to other activities that they can enjoy with their dogs, and other ways they can show off their dog skills.

We are in desperate need of qualified (you must qualify) foster homes!!

We have NONE right now, and can only work to place dogs whose owners can keep them in the meantime, or providing training for shelter dogs.

These dogs need help desperately. It seems most of the country is willing to turn their backs on them, preferring to believe what they hear or read inthe news. Even many owners do not seem to care enough for the breed to help fight BSL, donate to those willing to work for the safety of these dogs, or to help rehabilitate and rehome the many neglected, abused, abandoned, and homeless Rotties and Pits that are out there.
