Shipping a Puppy:

We ship puppies anywhere in the continental USA.  It costs around $250 (estimated) to ship a puppy of 8 weeks.

To ship a puppy, it must first get an acclimation statement from the vet stating that it can fly within a specified range of temperatures.  It must have a physical with all applicable shots (i.e. rabies).

I then purchase a puppy crate and drive to the airport in Nashville, TN.  The puppy boards the plane as air cargo and is shipped in the cargo area of the plane.  They are usually happy to see their new owners when they arrive.

We have shipped many puppies with no problems reported to date.  Occasionally, they are a little "hungover" from the flight and may be a little nervous from the strange experience.  But in a couple of hours, they are ready to play.

Thanks

Eli
