Saturday, March 31, 2007

• Daytime events to be named later.  The Smithsonian Kite Festival is always interesting.
• Evening: The Main Convention Dinner, at Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse!  Look here for the latest details.  A discussion of wine themes for tasting and dinner can be found here.  Most importantly, pay no attention to Jimmy LB How's hype -- LB (either Lynch Bages or the Left Bank) is going down!!!

• For the hardy souls who still haven't had enough wine yet, rumors of a pilgrimage to Mark's Duck House are circulating.

Attendees are encouraged to check that they are on the roster posted here; if not, post a reply letting everyone know you'll be there!

We don't arrange any travel details or accommodations, but at prior conventions many of us have tried to congregate at the "Unofficial Convention Hotel."  The Westin Grand near Georgetown/Foggy Bottom is shaping up as this year's hot spot -- information is available here .
