Is it wrong to support your immediate family, before giving substantial amounts of your income to others? I think the world would be a better place if we took care of home first. Then, we should support our extended family, in order to insure that they are not a burden to the rest of society while they are seeking their calling here on Earth. Next, we should target members of our own ethnic group, so that, they can benefit from our good fortune, hopefully one day, they will realize the American Dream also.
There are some African-Americans in our society who can create millionaires over night by lending their support to those who are working hard to maintain the status quo. When our pockets are full and running over, there is more wealth that can be shared with others of our group. Here is another poem from A Ballad Of Poetry:
*** We Share ***
There are ever so many with none; But God in heaven blessed us with some.
Sharing with those sisters without; brothers too... is what it's all about.
Now the so many, who had none; join with those who God gave some.
They're sharing with those sisters without, brothers too, still what it's all about.
We must rise to every occasion, where we could help one another.

From the Ballad of Poetry on Global Warming
*** The Naked Country ***
On Great one, how barren now you are, from that time when life you nourished.
The rain soaked soil spread miles afar, covering seeds of a land that flourished.
Many famished mouths await those sprouts, still not yet bloomed, and full of dust.
While there are prayers for water routes, but all we received, were winds that gust.
Those billowy clouds still shed no tears, to revive the plants dying over the land.
And this left naught but deep seated fears; there will be no bread-stuffs to fit the hand.
What effect, if any, does sending rockets and space ships have on destruction of our atmosphere? I remember when I was a child we had cold days in the Winter, cool rainy days in the Spring, hot days in the Summer, and brisk leave falling days in Autumn. We had a saying that we used on one another to solidify our position, "The only way that I would do that is if, it was a cold day in July!" With our temperature fluctuating as it does in Chicago, We must use to much Natural Gas during the Spring and Summer. We don't really get a big break in the fall. It's pretty cold on Halloween when it was sort of warm.
