CONFIDENTIALITY IS OUR POLICY at our Meetings.

        CONFIDENTIALITY, OUR POLICY:

Except for information provided by our guest speakers and business information that might be in our newsletter { B.I.G. NEWS} the remaining of what is said and heard at the monthly meeting is considered to be confidential.  This includes what you might hear from casual conversation as well as what is in our sharing groups and what ever personal statements might be made during the business portion of the meeting.  The reason for this policy is so that group members, survivors, family members, friends, and professionals may feel free to share what is concerning them, without fear of their words coming to them from unexpected sources.  Without this assurance one of the main purposes of our group is defeated.  We all need a safe place to share what is on our minds and in our heart and to get support for our concerns and fears.
