| Add your Recipe's, We're getting ours together too !! Please add your own HERE, or email them to BrainInjurySupport@msn.com Scratch brownies I was taught how to make scratch brownies in 5th grade. Best I can remember of the recipe is: This recipe is in one of those little square pans, serves 4. I forget the size of the pan. 1 cup white flour, 1/2 cup Hershey's CoCoa, 1 Cup Granulated White Sugar, 1/2 Stick Margerine or Butter (High in Calorie), I prefer Margerine, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp vanilla mix it up real good. You can add nuts but you have to adjust your cooking time about 15 to 30 min longer if you use nuts, (Walnuts-High in Calorie) are usually the best type, you can use peacons too. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 35-45. Check them with a tooth pick at 30 min. If the tooth pick comes out clean at 30 min. give them 5 min and take them out. (I'm sure my cooking time may be wrong) Wait until they are good and cooled. You can frost them, you can just sprinkle powdered sugar on the top, you can glaze them with a thinned out frosting mix, (not too watery). If someone knows how to make scratch brownies check my recipe for me. This is memory from 37 years ago! ImALady.
