Welcome to the Buffalo Waller Ranch hunting site! We invite you to view a few pictures of our hunting preserve from north-central Oklahoma area. This is our 5th season and have had a great time.We are 6 miles East of Ponca City and 3 west of Kaw city Oklahoma . The Buffalo Waller Ranch (BWR) is 560 acres that was part of the original Oklahoma Cherokee Strip land run established in 1893. Historic buffalo wallows and homestead sites are preserved still today. Presently, the BWR also adjoins the Kaw Lake Reservoir offering great upland game bird hunting on nearly 18,000 acres providing ample room and great habitat for deer, turkey, and duck hunting. BWR specializes in quail, and chukar hunts. Prices start at $300 per gun (2 person minimum) which gives you and your hunting buddy a combination of 50 birds to shoot.We also have great deer hunting. Guided hunts are released birds and accompanying hunting dogs, Pete, Katie, Bo and Lucky. These are quality trained dogs and they work hard to make your hunt enjoyable, plus they are really fun to watch. If you wish, you may bring your own dogs. We offer lodging and meals for both you and your dog, if you wish to stay the night before your hunt at an additional cost.
