Welcome to the Bujinkan Kongo Renge Dojo home page.
The teachings of the Kongo Renge Dojo will focus on the essence of the Bujinkan methods, including a variety of Taijutsu skills, while incorporating a study of the underlying development of virtuous action. The warrior traditions are of no value if one does not put these principles into practice in the everyday world of ones life.
“It is the intent of the Bujinkan Kongo Renge Dojo to ensure that the essence or truth of the Bujinkan teaching as disseminated by Hatsumi Soke will be transmitted onward to the next generation of students in an intact fashion as is possible, with regards to the necessity of personal interpretation”.
Bujinkan Dojo Information
The training structure of the Bujinkan, well over 900 years old, is based on the concept of teaching the martial arts as an essence or as a creative flow. The essence is transmitted, it is then up to the student to capture the feeling and make it his own.
The Bujinkan training structure is designed to encourage the student to explore all of the possible realms for achieving a healthy, powerful, and virtuous sense of well being while preparing one to handle the conflicts and confrontations that arise in the course of day-to-day living. Through repeated exposure to the challenges presented within the Bujinkan training structure one will gain first hand experience in identifying and strengthening those aspects of one's life that facilitate growth, confidence, peace of mind, and a sense of joy that accompanies living the warrior path.
