This is just a little something I'm toying around with, and trying to organize my thoughts for when I get to the point where I can start up my own dojo within the Bujinkan system.  Or operating in conjuncture with someone else; so any thoughts on what I have so far would be appreciated.  As I learn more, I'll add more to it.

Ippon Supplies is, IMHO, an excellent shop; the primary differentiation between it, and everyother martial art supply store online is that they actually carry tabi higher than US size twelve (which is good, especially for us gaijin with especially large feet, like I have).

Bugei. . . a wonderful supplier of katana and other Japanese weapons.  High quality, also provides domestic products as well as martial-related ones.

Another martial arts supply store with lots of cool gear.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide the best hand crafted, designed, and engineered martialart training equipment of the highest quality in the world.

(Editor's note: One of many martial arts suppliers, I'm just providing a sampling of places I'll be doing my shopping once I get some money saved up).

This site provides a wonderful series of links on Japanese swords makers living and working in Japan.  The articles are indepth, yet easy to read, with colour photos of some of the artisans' works.

This store has a wonderful selection of katana for training, as well as clothing, and is reasonably priced (prices for swords start at $350).
